The compact unit is the smaller, new-style iBR actuator. If your unit has the large motor mounted on the side, view the old-style iBR repair service. A photo of the complete module and its label will help us identify it.
What the repair service includes
- Opening, cleaning and lubrication of your module.
- Repair, resealing and testing before return.
- Applicable BRP firmware updates.
How to arrange your mail-in repair
- Send your unit details. Tell BRT your model, year, part number or Hull ID, and describe the problem or warning message you are seeing.
- Arrange shipping. Contact BRT for shipping instructions and the current turnaround before sending your unit.
- Send in your module for repair and testing. Your existing module is serviced and returned to you.
No-fault inspection terms
If testing finds that your module is not defective and the fault is elsewhere in the watercraft, your refund is reduced by $175: $150 for one hour of labor plus $25 return postage.
90-day repair warranty
90-day repair warranty. If you experience an issue within this period, please contact BRT to arrange to send your unit back. We’ll be happy to inspect it and determine whether the issue is covered under the repair warranty.
Unit identification and shop pricing
Shop pricing is available for repair shops and mobile marine mechanics. For unit identification, shipping instructions or shop pricing, message BRT on WhatsApp or Instagram with your model, year, part number or Hull ID and photos of the unit.
