Mail-in repair for all old-style Sea-Doo iBR units and part numbers. BRT has serviced Sea-Doo iBR units since 2012. We service and repair every old-style unit, including part numbers not listed below.

This listing is a repair service for the unit you already own. The actuator shown illustrates the unit being serviced; a replacement actuator is not included.

Old-style iBR identification

The old-style unit has a large motor mounted on the side. If you have the smaller, compact actuator, view our compact iBR mail-in repair service. For help identifying your unit, send BRT a photo of the complete module and its part-number label, along with your Sea-Doo model, year and a description of the problem.

How the mail-in repair works

  1. Arrange shipping. Contact BRT for shipping instructions and the current service schedule before sending your unit.
  2. Send your existing module. Follow the shipping instructions provided by BRT.
  3. Inspection, repair and testing. Your module is inspected, opened, cleaned, lubricated, repaired, resealed and tested before it is returned to you.

Turnaround and inspection terms

Allow 10–17 business days after we receive your module for inspection, service and return shipment. Contact BRT for the current schedule before sending your unit.

If testing finds that your iBR module is not defective and the fault is elsewhere in the craft, your refund will be reduced by $175: $150 for one hour of labor plus $25 return postage.

90-day repair warranty

90-day repair warranty. If you experience an issue within this period, please contact BRT to arrange to send your unit back. We’ll be happy to inspect it and determine whether the issue is covered under the repair warranty.

Repair support and shop pricing

Phone support is available for service-related questions. We also offer shop pricing for repair shops and mobile marine mechanics.

For unit identification, shipping details or shop pricing, message BRT on WhatsApp or Instagram with your model, year, part number and photos of the unit.
